Cardboard Crusaders is a game I am worked on alongside a group of five others for my capstone. It is a third person tower defense game where the player decides the route the enemies take. I was in charge of the environmental art, the props, and some of the VFX. Each tower and environmental piece are made from household objects and materials such as poscicle sticks, bottlecaps, cardboard etc.
All objects were modeled and UVed in 3Ds Max and all textures were done by my team member Savannah Post (Savannahs Portfolio: https://sjpportfolio966921861.wordpress.com/)

Mousetrap Catapult
This is the most basic tower within the game. It is a catapult made from a mousetrap, poscicle stick, and a bottlecap.

Rubberband Crossbow
This is a long range crossbow tower made from posicle sticks, a bit of wood, and a rubberband.

Plastic Cannon
This is a classic plastic cannon reminiscient of toy cannons from lego or other toy brands.

Spinner
The classic fidget spinner design that spins to hit enemies around it.

Tall Fence
This is the first of the non-attacking defenses. It is a large plastic fence designed to keep the enemies away.

Half Fence
This is the second of the non-attacking defenses. It is a small wooden fence that slow enemies down but do not stop them in their tracks.

Cardboard Castle
This is the castle that you must protect using the towers and defenses available to you.
